When you think old-school Lake Travis awesomeness, Lakeway should most definitely hop into your mind. Originally created as a golfing community complete with marinas, country clubs and a hotel, some of the most fantastic mid-century modern homes and meandering streets on the original parts of the original community have become historical. From the precious parks to the true Lakeway airstrip for private planes, Lakeway has an unique charm that only this master-planned community could pull off. Just like Westlake, Lakeway is an incorporated township with an city hall, it’s own police department and charm galore. Over time, Lakeway has really grown up, and in its growing up has seen expansion and additional annexation to deliver new sub-divisions within its lake loving, golf life, treelined streets.
