Flood Insurance Information
Recently, flood insurance has become a hot topic in the real estate world with the new rules that came into effect in January. Mortgage Broker, Paul Nagel was on his game the other day when he sent out the details to a link which shares a quick determination of whether or not your property will be in need of flood insurance or not. FEMA used to have a really nice, comprehensive link on their site, but it is not nearly as user friendly. Thanks for finding and sharing this, Paul!
The link below is a good tool to quickly determine if your listing or any other property is located in a flood zone – especially good for properties on the water (or even in Falls Church City, for that matter).
