Something that means so very much to me, is when a client of mine that I helped work on a home buying or selling process has moved from the area, and they remain in touch. This is what I found to be one of the best parts about being in my profession, really. Building amazing, enduring relationships. I am not about just selling you a place or selling your house and being done. I want to know what is going on in your life, and how we can help one another beyond that. Throughout the process, we get to know so much about one another, and I guess, what is amazing, is when it has been a while, and all of a sudden, I hear about a new baby, or marriage, or a new home being purchased abroad, or in another far-flung State. It makes me really happy.
What sponsored this, is that I got a text a few weeks ago from a great woman who does amazing work for non-profits up in New Jersey. When we first met, we looked everywhere at potential new homes for her. Although we didn’t find a home of her in Virginia, I loved getting to know her, and I am so proud that she is in her place in NJ. I am even more proud that she would think to send me a photo of her adorable new row house- to thank me for my patience while we looked in Virginia and my understanding that we didn’t find the right place here…
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. It means the world to me, and I hope I can continue the tradition, and that my agents will do the same.
