I have been nominated by our leadership for the 2016 Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Board of Directors.
I would be humbled and honored if you would vote for me to lead our Board and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors in the coming year.
What do you look for in a leader?
Is your leader someone who listens to you, who helps you problem solve, someone who lights the way and who has goals that are in alignment with yours? To me, a leader is someone who is driven, successful, powerful, motivational, and positive. Someone who sees the forest for the trees and can help others wade through where they may not have been able to see the other side and get past hurdles. A true leader is in a position of strength because they are supporting a group of others who are all trying to achieve the same common goal; a leader realizes they are not one, but part of a whole and that they are working together.
In real estate, a leader is someone protecting homeownership.
A leader is someone who proactively sees the problem before it begins and creates solutions and offers options. A leader is someone who doesn’t only talk, but listens and offers to move their team forward. Training, mentoring, coaching, all the while, continuing to grow personally.
As an associate broker at Smith Schnider and a leader in the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and Board of Directors member, I would offer to bring my experience leading with a giving hand, listening to those who are looking to learn and help those who are hoping to create an enduring career of helping others find the benefit in homeownership and the housing industry. As Realtors, we support each other, learn from each other, and are constantly learning new things. When I serve you on the 2016 NVAR Board, I will bring my commitment to service, my mentorship, my technology capabilities, my understanding of start up business and small brokerage need and passion for sustainability and smart growth.
Home ownership matters.
Let’s #lovewhatwedo together through training, learning and sharing. NVAR’s vast membership is powerful, and I would love to help shed light on homeownership matters as a part of your 2016 Board of Directors.
Thank you, sincerely, for voting for me in the in the 2016 NVAR BOD election. The ballot opens on Tuesday, September 8 and it closes Friday, October 9.
