Holy Smokes. Riverside drive has had a renaissance from that of when I was coming up in good old ATX. Riverside could be construed as the area that is actually the whole namesake as it truly runs along the river. On the south side, you will find some lovely Craftsman homes which are reminiscent of Travis Heights, and may even broach Travis Heights access, and as you cross I35 into East Austin, you’ll find many apartments and condominiums. A more affordable option, and much more density, Riverside has long been an area where students would opt to seek housing opportunities.
