5 Steps to repurposed glam
The last time, Cowgirl Gardener, Margeaux Denham, invited us into her award winning food musings and lifestyle on the range to find out how to make some upcycled pieces into a lovely jewelry organizer. Who knew stuff like that could be so cute and clever?! Now she shares a bit about how she can do more with upcycling than you could have imagined! If you’re like her, you can probably relate to a lot of these things and what it means to have a “bit of trash” that could really be a treasure, maybe even your own treasure. Breathe new life
into something, instead of taking it to the landfill! How about some up-cycling or even just a good ole-rehabilitation?! Enjoy!
Step 1) Get inspired… A belt, headband, even a cigar box.
Step 2) Collect vintage jewelry from garage sales, antique stores, estate sales, or even old or broken pieces of your own. Remove any broken pieces from the back.
Step 3) Lay out your found pieces and design a new creation.
Step 4) Use a strong glue for a tight bond. ( E6000 glue works great! Use good ventilation and allow to dry thoroughly.)
Step 5) Wear your upcycled creation and be the Belle of the Ball!
