Start your year out with some resolution building, check out the Organics- Organic beer, wine and coffee that is!
They say that one great way to reach a getting healthy goal is to add “eat organic” to your list of healthy eating guidelines… well, “they” probably didn’t mean to hit the sauce, but hey! Who says you can’t have a little fun while enjoying your organics, too?! Come out and play this January with the Clarendon Whole Foods Pub’s team and Green Drinks Arlington while we find out more about the Arlington Initiation to Reduce Emission’s upcoming Energy Game of Life- the Energy Journey with Kelly Zonderwyk.
A bit about our guest speaker:
Kelly Zonderwyk is an Energy Program Specialist with Arlington County’s Arlington Initiative to Reduce Emissions or AIRE program. Her latest community project is a fun, family event called the Energy Journey designed as an interactive, life size board game to better help people understand how everyday actions impact the environment. She will discuss the event, a role for volunteers and participants. We can’t wait to hear more about AIRE’s upcoming event with Kelly!
About the venue:
Whole Foods Clarendon opened up its new Organics Pub Upstairs back in September of 2012, and has been allowing patrons to enjoy a pint, a glass or a cup of their “pleasure” while strolling through the store. The Austin based company has a very happening flagship program of this pub and restaurant concept that is awesome. I’m not just saying that because I’m biased being a native Austinite, but because it just makes shopping that much more enjoyable- plus it is thriving in each of their stores where they have opened a pub! High quality Organic coffees, wines and beers are selected by the knowledgeable team and then sold in a friendly, fun atmosphere that can be enjoyed throughout the store. High-Five Whole Foods Clarendon’s Jackie Zovko for working so hard to bring this Pub concept to their Arlington location!
