What a perfect time of year to get back over to The Pike. Yes… and an even better time to start a conversation with Arlington’s Cultural Affairs and the Arts!
You know how much we love our community; we say it all of the time, and we give back when we can. Something that we really love is when people in the community foster that- and last month, we had EESI out to chat about how they give back to the community. This month, we have Kathy Glennon of Arlington County to talk to the Arts and how they contribute to the amazing fabric that is Arlington County. We can’t wait to have her share what they have up their sleeve for the year and how she does her part to contribute to the Arlington Community through Arts and Cultural Affairs!
About the speaker:
Shaping Community through Arts and Culture
Arlington County Cultural Affairs provides programs and services that build community and transform lives by enhancing enjoyment, understanding, and participation in the arts. Kathy Glennon of Cultural Affairs will discuss the role of the arts in Arlington’s placemaking initiatives, and will highlight recent projects that engage and connect people and places through the arts.
