Green Drinks Arlington comes back to the Pike to introduce Arlingtonians to Sauca and remind them that AFAC is needed year round!
How long have you been wondering what that awesome restaurant’s name actually says? Do you take you walks by and want to stop by and taste the world, but you haven’t just yet? Just to answer your question… phonetically, it is pronouced sauce-ah. Now that you’re in the know… now is the perfect time to come on in for a Green Drinks HAPPY HOUR, because we are bringing together the best of all things, community, friends and the amazing owner, Farhad Assari, of the brainchild that thought up “Eat the world”- to this wonderful Columbia Pike newbie, Sauca!
What makes this even better is that you know how much we love our friends at the Arlington Food Assistance Center, right? Well, we do, and so to bring community together even more, and to help Arlingtonians understand that Green Drinks Arlington isn’t just about environmental sustainability, but community vitality and sustainability, our pixie friend, Koube Ngaaje, Assistant Director of Operations for AFAC will be our fabulous speaker to remind everyone that AFAC isn’t just a non-profit that is around during the Season of Giving, but they are needed year round by our fellow Arlingtonians.
