I am pretty sure that our crooning singer meant “no one said it would be easy” to be about being lucky in love, but it can truly be said about being lucky in real estate, too. If you have the right team in place during your real estate transaction, it doesn’t have to be that hard. If you don’t have someone or the right one looking out for you, you may have a much more difficult time going through your real estate transaction. You may not even know it during the process- it might come later and that is not cool. You really want people who have your best interests at heart and having a solid team, meaning a professional, real estate person working on your behalf to make sure your transaction is done the right way is paramount.
I recently got an email from some clients after having an interesting day with them, that if I had been anyone else, could have ended up being a crazy situation for them. People like some of our reality TV show hot-shots, who say that they will do anything for a deal, or some agents who want to bend the rules to make a deal happen really solidified this sentiment, and I wanted to share my client’s note from the end result with you all:

Sometimes when you are going through your own real estate transaction (and remember NONE OF THEM ARE THE SAME!), you come across situations that are strange or uncomfortable even, and you want to know that the person who is working on your behalf is doing everything they can to work for you to get you the best possible outcome.
Your realtor is there to provide you with the best possible service. To provide you service that lends towards what is going to be the best for YOU and your goals and situation. Make sure you have the right Realtor or real estate team in place from the outset of your real estate search so that you can have a simplified process.
