Day 30:
As a realtor, What do you do?
Well, that is a loaded question. I think of Real estate and being a realtor as community building, and helping those who are looking to buy and sell homes as building wealth in the community and for themselves.
As a broker. I train, manage, and work through masterminding with my team and colleagues, while staying up on the market trends and data in the area, We are marketers, negotiators, sometimes therapists, and friends. We help people get to know the lay of the land when they are new to the area, while understanding form flow and function of homes. What we are not: lawyers, CPAs, bankers, financial planners, builders, designers inspectors… even though if we’ve been in the field long enough, we know enough to be dangerous.
The crazy thing about it is, the things I mention here don’t even scratch the surface… from the organizing of people’s home building, purchases and sales, and the things that go on behind the scenes to order the smooth transitions, beyond that while growing and maintaining, business, we are staying on top of trends, updates and knowing what is happening in all of the jurisdictions that we serve in the political aspects of what will affect our growing communities, we serve our clients, we are servant leaders, spouses, children, and more.
Above all, we are helping people find a place to call home.
Thanks for doing the 30 days of real estate Q&A with me. I hope you had fun, learned some things and if we can help you, we have so much more to share…
