Favorite Design Elements

Sometimes, going through all of these houses and working with builders and designers, I start to get jaded. Yeah. It is possible. Happy, enthusiastic me. I, too, can become jaded by all of the awesome, wonderful, fantastic things out there that we can surround ourselves with. This made me think: I should probably make a list of a few of my favorite things, so I stop being overwhelmed by all of the new-now-next stuff out there!

Here is my list.

• Eclectic collections made simple.
• Personality. Lots of it.
• Punchy color in unexpected places.
• Nooks. For reading. For planting. For displaying.
• Family history on display.- The old school stuff.
• Plants. Using plants to break up space makes me happy.
