Collecting art is a thing that I started as a kid. When I was a teenager, my ceiling was covered in collages of beautiful images from seaside escapes to Isabella Adjani’s puckered mouth to Uma Thurman dancing at the Jack Rabbit Slims in Pulp Fiction. Art was something that I thought was fun, creative, thoughtful and something that I could hold dear and true to myself. I have sense developed a deeper love of Art, thanks to my parents helping me see the light from my juvenile visions of the creative concepts I had for my own artistic outlet on the ceiling and advanced to creating gallery walls for Madonna and Child collections from Peru and England from the 1400’s and 1700’s as well as some other interesting pieces.
I don’t know if I can pull off a kitchen like this, but the eclectic kitchen that these folks have is something that I am drawn to. What do you think about it? What would inspire you to create a beautiful meal to share in this kitchen? Is it the art, or the hearty wood island?
