Wall Street Journal States People Want Mature Trees

If you read the Wall Street Journal, you may have seen this last weekend update in the Mansion Section about the premium people are paying for trees right here in the DC Metro area. It was interesting to see it mentioned right there on the cover. People want mature, lovely lots and are willing to pay upwards of one million dollars for a premium lot! Some people will even go above and beyond and bring in $50,000 or more to transplant trees that look mature to make a home look more stately. Wow.

Some of the areas in Northern Virginia with the best wooded homesites for the money would be Falls Church, Vienna, McLean and even parts of Fairfax and Annandale.
