Ah, the sparkling lights and sounds of the new urbanism that is Shirlington. We love it. Summer-time makes the cafe’s and Piazzas of this urban village come even that much more alive! That is why we have teamed up with Jenn Truong from Virginia Tech’s Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability for a Summer-time update and the newest restaurant on the strip, Copperwood Tavern for a sweet Summer happy hour to liven Green Drinks Arlington up for the season!
About the Speaker: Jenn Truong is the Communications & Engagement Coordinator for the Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability (CLiGS). About the Venue: COPPERWOOD TAVERN found in the heart of adorable, walkable Shirlington is a farm to table experience that makes you feel down home, yet sophisticated. How is that even possible?! It may be the tons and tons of gorgeous, locally-sourced food and veggies that make fell completely full and happy, or the long list of bourbon and moonshine and everything in between. Copperwood is definitely a fantastic Shirlington addition, and we’re stoked that they are on the menu!
